How are the high school boys teams formed?
At the High School level, what are the rules of play?

When will registration begin?
Registration will begin October 1st, 2008 and continue through November 1st. Registrations will be accepted after the November 1st deadline, however, will incur a $10 Late Fee.
How can I register for the WUM program?
Registration will be done online this year. Click the URL appropriate for your age group.
What are the minimum number of players on a team?
There must be 7 registered players per team
How many teams are needed to form a league?
There must be a minimum of 4 teams in an age division to form a league.
What payment options are available with online registration?
Payment can be made by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or by ACH transfer from your checking account.
When, where, and how often are practices held?
Practices will be held on Saturday's for one hour at the West U. Methodist High Court gym (west side of church property at corner of University Blvd and Mercer; gym is on 2nd floor). The first practices will be held November 6th.
When and where are the games played?
Teams will have one game per week at one of the participating UCAL church or school gyms. See directions for addition location information.
How much is the registration fee and what does it include?
The registration fee is $135 for WUM members and $150 for non-WUM members. It includes all fees for uniform (jersey), referees and scorekeepers, gym rentals, and miscellaneous administrative costs associated with the program.
Will the be a program for 1st graders?
Unfortunately, there are no current plans to implement a 1st grade program. Facilities constraints at several churches have made it difficult to create a quality program.

At the High School level, what are the rules of play?
The University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules apply for high school play. One parent or adult must sit on the bench for each team during the game to ensure play is maintained in a safe and positive manner. UCAL will provide two referees for each game.
Is making payments online safe and secure?
We have chosen ServiceU Corporation as our online payment provider. The company has been recognized as a Level 1 Service Provider by Visa U.S.A, making ServiceU the first provider of online ticketing, event registrations, and donations to appear on the List of Compliant Service Providers. As a Level 1 Service Provider, ServiceU gives you the assurance that all cardholder information is protected according to the highest standards in the industry.
Is it possible to register and pay without using the online system?
Online registration is the highly preferred form of registration. However, if you choose not to register online, a hand-written registration form and personal check or cash will be accepted. Forms are available in the church office and checks should be made payable to: West U. Methodist.

No, as long as you filled out your son/daughter's name in the Player's Name box, you are fine. A programming glitch might indicate you as the person registered; you will not be playing, just your son or daughter.
How are the high school boys teams formed?
The program is designed for boys to create their own teams. Attempts will be made to players who have not affiliated themselves with a team. A player may play on only ONE team. High school players are encouraged to form their own teams and are reponsible for maintaining accurate rosters.
Is there a maximum number of teams in the high school league?
Due to a limited availability of gyms, the high school division will be limited to the first 20 teams with a minimum of 7 registered players per team
Do high school teams practice?
High school teams do not have a designated practice time.
